What We Deliver

  • Cloud architecture design and migration strategies
  • Containerized deployments with Docker and orchestration
  • Automated CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable releases
  • Infrastructure as Code for reproducible environments
02

Our Approach

  • Assessment of current infrastructure and bottlenecks
  • Cloud provider selection based on workload requirements
  • Phased migration with zero-downtime strategies
  • Cost optimization and performance monitoring
03

Platforms

  • AWS — EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront
  • DigitalOcean — Droplets, Kubernetes, Spaces
  • Docker & container orchestration
  • Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

From audit to cutover: how a migration runs

We start by reading your existing infrastructure the way an accountant reads books: what is running, what it costs, and what breaks when it fails. That audit produces a migration plan split into phases, each with a rollback point documented before we touch anything in production. Databases move last, behind replication, so the final cutover is a DNS change rather than a leap of faith.

Everything we build is defined as code from the first day. Servers, networks, DNS, and deploy pipelines live in version-controlled configuration, so a second environment is a command away and nothing depends on a server someone hand-configured in 2019. Once you are stable, we set up cost and performance monitoring, then run a review after thirty days to catch the surprises that only show up under real traffic.

Should you choose AWS or DigitalOcean?

DigitalOcean, if your workload is a web application with a database and predictable traffic; you will get simpler operations and a bill roughly half of the AWS equivalent. AWS, when you need managed services DigitalOcean lacks: fine-grained IAM, Lambda, SQS, multi-region failover, or the compliance controls your enterprise customers demand. We run production systems on both platforms every day, which is why opinions rather than partnerships drive the recommendation.

We run our own products, Rukrok, Komerce, and Chargly, on this exact architecture, split across AWS and DigitalOcean depending on what each one needs, so the trade-offs above come from our own invoices. Most clients assume they need Kubernetes; most do not. A few Docker hosts behind a load balancer, with a managed database and automated backups, covers a surprising amount of ground, and a single engineer can operate it.

What working with our cloud team looks like

Migrations are usually fixed-scope: we quote the whole move after the audit, with phases and rollback points written into the agreement. Ongoing infrastructure work runs as a monthly retainer sized to your environment, covering monitoring, patching, cost reviews, and a response commitment when something pages. Either way you get direct access to the engineers doing the work, on Slack, not a ticket queue averaged across a thousand customers.

We deliberately leave you able to fire us. Because every environment is reproducible from version-controlled code and documented runbooks, any competent DevOps engineer can pick up where we left off. Some agencies build lock-in through obscurity; we would rather keep clients by being useful. Weekly summaries during active projects tell you what changed, what it cost, and what we recommend next.

The tools we standardize on

Docker for packaging, because a container that runs on a laptop runs the same way in production. Terraform for infrastructure as code across both AWS and DigitalOcean, so environments are declared rather than remembered. GitHub Actions or GitLab CI for pipelines, managed PostgreSQL or MySQL over self-hosted databases in almost every case, and boring, well-documented monitoring rather than a dashboard nobody reads.

On AWS we lean on EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFront; on DigitalOcean, Droplets, managed databases, and Spaces. We avoid services that exist mainly to deepen platform dependence when a portable equivalent works as well. That restraint means smaller bills and easier exits. When a proprietary service genuinely earns its keep, we will use it, and we will note in the docs exactly what migrating away from it would take.

Why Choose Kodenique for Cloud Solutions & Infrastructure

01

Rukrok, Komerce, and Chargly run on the same AWS and DigitalOcean architecture we deploy for clients.

02

We will tell you when you do not need Kubernetes; many workloads run cheaper on Docker hosts and a managed database.

03

Migrations are phased with rollback points documented before we touch production, and databases move last behind replication.

04

Everything is reproducible from version-controlled code, so you are never locked in to a snowflake server, or to us.
